The route
You start in Düsseldorf and roll along a flat route that runs over cobbles for just under half the distance. Along the way you cross the Südliche Düssel, the Brückerbach and the Hoxbach, plus two bridges over the Südliche Düssel and the Eselsbach. An avenue accompanies you on the route. Three churches lie on the stretch, as does Schloss Benrath with its gatehouse. If you fancy a break, you'll find numerous cafés and ice-cream cafés, including the Schlosscafé Benrath with beer garden.
