Common questions
Do I need an account or sign-up?
No. Radrunde works fully without an account, login or email address.
How much does Radrunde cost?
The NRW node network is free for good — no account, no ads.
Does the app work offline?
The NRW network data and the topology are on your device after the first launch; you add the Dutch network in the app, in Settings. Radrunde preferably calculates loops on the server; if the connection drops, your phone calculates the loop itself. The map view needs an internet connection.
Is there a Radrunde for Android?
Yes — Radrunde for Android is free on Google Play. Details on the Android page.
Which regions are supported?
The complete cycle network of North Rhine-Westphalia (node network) and the nationwide Dutch node network, joined at the border crossings. Further networks are conceivable but not yet included.
Where does the map data come from?
From the open geodata of NRW (radverkehrsnetz.nrw.de); for the Netherlands, from OpenStreetMap (ODbL). The map itself is Apple Maps (iOS) or Google Maps (Android). Details on the Licences page.
