The route
You start in Duisburg. You cross the Eisenbahnhafen, Vinckekanal and Rhein, and along the way you cross the kleine Emscher, Alte Emscher, Gerdtbach and Lohkanal. The route is undulating — 120 metres of elevation gain over 28 kilometres, mostly on asphalt, partly on gravel. Along the way you'll find the Evangelische Kirche Orsoy, two monuments and, if you fancy a break, the beer gardens Mühlenweide and Haus Rheinblick as well as the ice cream parlour Donato.
