The route
You start in Euskirchen. You cross Veybach, Mitbach and Erft, traverse Hundswinkelgraben, Erftmühlenbach and Mersbach. The route is undulating — 218 metres of elevation gain over 27 kilometres, almost entirely on asphalt. Along the way you pass Untere Burg Antweiler, Schloss Wachendorf and Burg Satzvey, plus several churches and monuments such as two segments of the Berlin Wall.
