The route is hilly — 368 metres of climbing over 28 kilometres, almost entirely on asphalt. Along the way you pass Schloss Hückeswagen, the Heimatmuseum, the Rosengarten as a viewpoint and several war memorials as well as traces of the Berliner Mauer.
