The route

You start in Kleve. You cycle almost entirely on tarmac through park and residential areas, and the route is flat. An avenue shapes the way, and you cross the Bosse-Wässerung on a bridge. Along the route lie four churches, the Donsbrügger Mühle, Haus Koekkoek and Museum Forum Arenacum. A monument to Barend Cornelis Koekkoek marks the stretch. If you fancy a break, you'll find several cafés — Belas Kavariner Café, Café Solo, Casa Algarve, Heicks & Teutenberg or Hofcafé Lindenhof.
