The route
You start in Minden. You cross the Verbindungskanal Nord and the Mittellandkanal, cross the Koppelgraben and roll almost continuously on asphalt. The route is undulating — 202 metres of elevation gain over 36 kilometres. Along the way you'll find the Windmühle Holzhausen an der Porta, two churches and several monuments, including the Hochwasser Merkstein der Weser. If you fancy a break, you'll find the Schiffsmühle Biergarten, two ice cream cafés and the Bäckerei Hensel.
