The route
You start in Mülheim. You cross the Mühlenbach, Ruhr and Schleusenkanal, ford the Rumbach and roll along on asphalt for just under three quarters of the way. The route is undulating — 107 metres of climbing over 28 kilometres. Along the way you'll find Schloss Broich with its museum, two viewing towers, five churches and several industrial monuments such as the Zinkfabrik Altenberg. If you fancy a break, you'll find cafés, ice cream cafés and the Mölmsche Oase.
