The route

You start in Münster and stay mostly within the settlement throughout. The route takes you across the bridges Meckelbach, Münstersche Aa and Kinderbach, and you cross Lierbach, Brockbach, Hülsbach and further streams besides. Along the way you pass six churches, three monuments and the Klostermühle Hohenholte. If you fancy a break, you'll find several ice cream cafés or the beer gardens Egons Kotten and Haus Niemann. The route is flat — over 35 kilometres you gain only 102 metres of elevation.
