The route

You start in Rheinberg and roll on a flat route to the foot of Kloster Kamp. Along the way you cross the bridges over Grintgraben, Moersbach and Fossa Eugeniana, traverse the Alpsche Ley and cycle through an allee. The route is three-quarters tarmac, the rest gravel. Three churches lie on the route — the Evangelische Kirche Rheinberg, the Heiligenhäuschen and St. Mariä Himmelfahrt — as well as monuments such as the monument to Amplonius Rating de Berka. If you fancy a break, you'll find EisCafe Dolce Vita and Eiscafe Venezia.
